Consultation
Upon setting up your appointment we will promptly meet to help you achieve your aquarium goals. Whether it be to designing a new aquarium for a specific space or to maintain an existing aquarium, we offer a free inspection and water profile summary to help us gauge your aquarium needs.
Design
We offer basic aquarium packages for freshwater or saltwater aquariums. Custom aquariums can also be designed through our company utilizing local aquarium builders and master craftsmen. CAD software can even help us design and install the aquarium of your dreams. We say, "Go BIG, you can't go wrong!"
Aquarium Management
We can set up a scheduled maintenance for your aquarium that will keep it hands-free, to a degree. We strongly suggested you still feed your fish! Twice a month we will visit your aquarium for a little TLC. This includes water changes and mechanical maintenance. In some cases, aquariums may need to be visited more often depending on the inhabitants!
Fish, Fish, and more Fish!
We pride ourselves on offering the freshest specimens direct from the West coast! Animals can be special ordered and arrive the same week avoiding the hassle of searching locally for fish that may or may not be there. We use certified fish vendors that only provide fish that have not been collected by means of poisons and explosives. ONLY hand caught aquatic animals are sold by our company. This ensures the health of the reefs and the regeneration of the animal that live in them.

I love fish. Aquatic life is something that has fascinated me since I was a kid. During college I became a PADI Divemaster to get a closer look and have since logged hundreds of hours diving and teaching dive safety. Not everyone has the desire or ability to go diving so I wanted to work for organizations who bring the aquatic life to a place where everyone can enjoy it. I have worked as a husbandry specialist at three world-class zoos & aquariums (Texas State Aquarium, Fort Worth Zoo, & Dallas Zoo). I also worked as the Southwest Regional Curator with Landry’s Restaurants Inc. overseeing curator training, animal collections management and aquarium construction over several Landry’s properties. My passion for marine life lead me to form Aquarium Works of Texas back in 2003. I have consulted with the local zoos and aquariums, rebuilt Perot Systems aquarium installation, and built relationships with clients who have remained with the company for more than 12 years. I have designed, built, and managed over 400 aquariums and will continue to do so far into the future God willing!
